Acknowledging and honouring Body, as living site of all experience and knowing. Body as an intuitive vessel of animate connection and as inquiry.
Bodies, as relational entities, emergent beings and incredible, ever-changing, liminal realms of becoming and belonging.
Considering corporeal and emotional states of connection and disconnection, interest and disinterest, also the edges of what might be desire and disgust.
Moving toward preferred ways of being through pattern recognition, critical reflection, expression/forming and active sequencing.
Emma engages a regular improvised movement practice, and has trained in Body Weather, Butoh, Dance, Improvisation, Action Theatre and Vipassana Meditation, she uses elements of all of these body based techniques to inform her own offerings.
