multidisciplinary movement and art making sessions for connection, nourishment and possibility.

Creative Body Inquiry invites a multidiscipliniary, whole body approach to ways of connecting, relating and knowing.

Working across art forms allows us to bring awareness to what we are noticing in different ways, across the series we incorporate ; movement – mark making – print – sound – sculptural forming – text – story – collage
Inviting relationality – curiosity – playfulness

sessions are;
- accessible to all bodies and experience
- held in a ethical container that values diversity
they aim to;
- cultivate a sense of physical/embodied awareness and support relationality through connection with self (body) and others (human and other-than-human bodies)
- engage the imagination through creative themes and invitations to extend known territories
- bring attention to needs, patterns, preferences and tensions
- create space to reflect, acknowledge and share what we are noticing (sharing is optional)

As a synthesis of methods, creative body inquiry might be considered a form of arts based research.
