A body forever in relationship with itself, with other bodies, with the air and the place that holds it, the stillness, the movement and the un-named liminals of everything in between.

Acknowledging body as living field of possibility, as a fleshy system of experiential scapes, an intuitive vessel of relational connection and as a vehicle of inquiry.

Dance has always been a significant part of my life.

Acknowledging relationship to self and to other bodies (animate and inanimate) is a key informant to my practise & my offerings with others.

I have a regular improvised/embodied movement practice for personal wellness, somatic inquiry and occasional performance.

My dance practise is intuitive and improvised – my primary source of information being the state/condition or weather of my body in relation to the place and the moment I am within.

I believe dance is relevant to us all, whatever our relationship to it is or has been. Dance reminds us there is more, it activates memory, endorphins and tells our body we are safe, connected to something greater and alive!

During school i trained and performed regionally in ballet and modern jazz, before discovering dance floors of both night clubs and live music venues.

Over the past 10 years relationship to dance expanded and become more about presence and storytelling as an embodied form of expression, merging with other modes of creativity such as theatre & poetry.

These are ways I relate, inquire and make meaning.

My movement and dance practise that is emergent, poetic, and based in the ever-changing relational and liminal realms of becoming and belonging.
